Got Facebook?

Do you have Facebook? I do. But frankly, it bores me to tears. I really don't care if my brother is back from fishing or that some tertiary friend's kid took 5th place in his Jiu Jitsu competition. But, if you have it and you really, really feel compelled to post on it - be careful. Case in point:

Welcome to the World

He was born Wednesday May 19, 2010 and mother and child are both doing great! No complications whatsoever. He came home Friday.

He's a mellow little bugger. Fussing consists of a one-time, loud "waaaaa!" If he doesn't get what he wants in a few moments he does it again. Loves to eat that one! And poop!

So far so good. Its been quite easy.

We could not be happier.

Updating Yet Again

After another delay because they feel his lungs still aren't ready, they're telling us next Tuesday the will induce her, no matter what. He's just getting too big.

Update

No baby yet. They tested to see if TLO II was ready to be induced into the world but he needs to bake in that oven another week. Kinda like checking a cake, no? Evidently, this one just ain't ready yet.

So, we'll miss out on our little Cinquo de Mayo bundle of joy and we're a bit disappointed because we were getting anxious to meet him. But we can wait another week or so.

Well. At least I can. She's had enough smuggling basketballs.

Cinquo De Mayo

Of course, with gestational diabetes they worry about the size of the baby. He's really grown a ton in the past month or so. Therefore, on May 4 they will do an amnio to make sure his lungs are ready and if they are, we will go in May 5 (Cinquo De Mayo) and they will induce her. He should be about 8 pounds at that point and only 2 1/2 weeks early.

His room's not ready but other than that, we can't wait!

Tiger Who?

I can't root for Tiger Woods anymore. I used to be a big fan, but I just can't root for him.

Although, I was riveted watching the Master's on Sunday and was rooting for Phil Mickelson the whole time so I was VERY glad when he won. Especially given all his wife and mom have been through.

But. Enough Tiger already. Please. There's plenty of good golf stories that don't involve him.

Boo!

I'm still around. No baby just yet, though. All is well unless you account for some Gestational Diabetes.

Also, looking forward to my first weekend without overnights at the Casino. Cool.
