Winners?

Hands down, the all-time winning hit for my blog is a search for "whale-tail", followed by a close second to "tongue chewing" with quite a few image hits for "dork-o-meter" and a splattering of "man thongs".

Other than that, I stand firm at about 1 consistent reader.

I was mentioning before the searches that result in hits to my blog. The words aren't "poop" or "thong" or other tawdry things of that sort, although there are quite a few from "thong" or "men's thong". My most hit word or grouping of words?

Tongue chewing.

It seems I'm not alone.

Hit Again

I'm rather fascinated by the search parameters that bring individuals to my blog. And a little creeped out at times.

I got hit with "my mom was moaning" last evening. For the life of me I couldn't think of how that google search turned me up as the number two website. Turns out it was my "Childhood Memories" post from last August. I had forgotten all about it. Now I've creeped myself out but I'm chuckling at the same time. I can't believe I posted something about my mom moaning! What was I thinking?

And to top that, I'm the number one website for "Seven little monkeys, swinging from a branch. Eating lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch". Huh???? As far as I know the only reference I make to monkeys in my blog is the "Guilty Pleasures" post of January, '07! I don't get that one at all except, if I remember correctly, that was a line from Something About Mary. Oh well.

I guess if you throw it all out there into cybers-pace, somebody will find it, eh?

Recent hits to my blog have come from the following searches --

"Connecticut River Geography" - booooooring! But good luck with that project, kid. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. It just goes to show you, the internet can be an informative resource for things other than email, porn and blogging.

"Busted Bursa Sac Knee" - Ouch! Been there, done that. I don't care to go back, but good luck with it and I hope yours doesn't still hurt like mine does. Did I spell it "sac" in my post??? I'm too lazy to go look.

"Girls Exposing There Whaletail" -- Ha, ha! Good luck with, well, whatever you're up to. Could be a project, eh? If it is, take a minute and learn the differences between "there, their and they're" ok? While I'm at it, I don't think Whale Tail is one word, but happy googling in any regard. I'm the seventh hit on google if its searched that way.

"BlackJack Dealer and Math Test" - Well, buddy, I can tell you one thing. The math part is the easiest part of it all.

After posting what I thought was a rather amusing post below (the Holiday), I am dismayed to see it only garnered 1 comment in 4+ days. My hits and comments are all down. Perhaps I'm not so good at this blogging thing. Oh well.
