I've never been overseas and was completely unaware that in England you flip the switch "down" to turn the light on. I would find that a more difficult adjustment than right hand drive.

I don't know if that would bother me too much. At my house, almost all the lights are controlled with 2 switches (or more). I never have any idea which way to flip the switch and even still after living here more than 6 years I have no idea which switch controls which light until I flip it and see what happens.
