Now that I'm back from Vegas, I promptly booked my families' trip to Disney World. Not Land. The Florida one. Third week in May. Looking forward to it. We're going with my brother's family and they've been twice in the past 5 years or so, so we'll be in good hands but if you've been recently feel free to lend me your insight on the dos/don'ts.

We were just there in November and had a great time! I didn't plan the trip and I have no idea what advice to give, but have fun (and I think it is impossible not to, really).

We've been to D'World twice. The first time we went my son was nine and we had a good time. We went again when he was seventeen and everyone still had a good time. The different rides and things we visited were different the second time, but good times were had by all nonetheless. For us, I think, the trick that made it all work so well each time was simply to allow enough time in the schedule to really enjoy the place. Each of the kingdoms in D'World are a day or more by themselves, so just take your time and everyone will have a good time. That, and an extra large supply of sunscreen :-) If you like seafood, they have a Boston Lobster Feast (or Fest) near D'World where you can eat all the seafood, including lobsters, you want in an all you care to eat buffet format.
